FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

10 December 2012

Creative Skillset is recruiting for employers and professionals to join industry panels which will help shape the future of the UK Creative Industries.

Panel members will be asked their opinions on matters ranging from skills gaps and training to the future needs of the industries.  Their input will be vital in shaping Creative Skillset’s future strategy and supporting the UK Creative Industries in remaining globally competitive.

The short surveys, containing no more than ten quick questions at a time, will be accessed online and all contributors will get access to the survey results.

Employers within the UK TV, film, computer games or interactive media industries are asked to join the employer panel at www.creativeskillset.org/employerpanel. Individuals working within the UK Creative Industries as a whole, whether on a freelance or employed basis, or those trying to break into these industries, are asked to join the workforce panel at www.creativeskillset.org/workforcepanel.

Creative Skillset’s Chief Executive, Dinah Caine, said:  “As an industry-led organisation, the panels will be vital in shaping our future strategies. We urge employers and professionals to register to ensure their opinions and ideas are heard and to support the UK Creative Industries.”

Registration takes minutes and those who sign up before 8 January 2013 will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 of Red Letter Day vouchers.

-Ends-
