Hamburg, December 11th 2012. Daedalic Entertainment’s A "New Beginning – Final Cut" is available on Steam now! This version of one of their best adventure titles is available for PC and, for the first time, Mac.

"The Final Cut" includes many new features. There are 28 Steam  Achievements and is localized for seven different languages. "The Final Cut" features full translations into English, German, French and Russian with subtitles for Italian, Spanish and Polish.

This and more than 60 minutes worth of cutscenes make "A New Beginning- Final Cut" a game worth checking out.

You can purchase the game for $9,99, €9,99 and £7,99 on Steam. But for the first week of release, the game will be available for the reduced price of $8,99, €8,99 and £7,19.

About the game

A New Beginning is a cinematic, interactive adventure-thriller that deals with some of the defining issues of our time. In a story taken from today’s headlines, an impending global climate cataclysm threatens everyone on earth. At locations all around the globe, players will have to try and stem the tide of disaster – with the whole world hanging in the balance.

Scientist Bent Svensson had to resign from his life’s work of trying to bring an eco-friendly alternative energy source to reality. But his existence as a reluctant retiree is interrupted by a peculiar visitor. The young Fay claims to have been sent from the future to prevent an impending environmental catastrophe. The only remaining hope is Bent’s research which is prone to fall into the hands of an unscrupulous energy magnate. Bent decides to trust the young woman – but is she really telling the truth?

In "A New Beginning", players take control of the two  protagonists and explore the detailed, hand-painted backgrounds in classic point-and-click style. More than 50 characters are rendered in a striking graphic-novel style and are carefully animated in feature-film quality.
