Tatem Games launches a new action game
Epic Stand, developed in collaboration with
Bright Sight team, creators of the original Epic
Stand for Flash. The player takes on a role of a wizard with a dark
past whose most recent and important task is to not let the enemy
troops climb up the castle walls. At the moment
Epic Stand is iPad-only and sells for $0.99 on
iTunes AppStore.
The gameplay has the player shooting down magical spells on the
ever-growing crowd of intruders while they are taking over his
castle floor by floor. If they get to the top, it’s game over
for the wizard, if they don’t – the wizard gets some
spare skulls to use for upgrades. Upgrades include buying more
powerful spells or strengthening the castle. Upgrade purchases can
be reshuffled at any time so players can work out a different
strategy for each level.
Scary ogres and werewolves, boiling lava and sky-high defense
walls, comic storyline and two game modes are just a little part of
what
Epic Stand has to offer. iPhone version and more
levels for iPad are already in the works.
