Wednesday 19th December, Christmas is practically upon us and to help you all enjoy the festive period, Auto Club Revolution has added some new elements to its racing world.

The working elves have made some big changes to the multiplayer racing network code. The new code has been adapted from the in-house built, Eutechnyx-owed engine, which has been used in the development of Eutechnyx' successful AAA titles. Being able to adapt this level of cutting edge design to use in the free to play market makes Auto Club Revolution an unparalleled, premium gaming experience.

Players will experience the most realistic and natural movement while racing around the uniquely located tracks. Cars models will respond to the environment, based on position and suspension, for example, as a car passes over a bump or incline, this will be reflected in accurate motion of the car.

The updates don't stop there, we really have been busy. For a final stocking filler, updates have been made to the matchmaking system which now bases matches on the VPR of the car the player's using and pairs it will racers using cars of similar VPR.

We also have a special gift in the form of the 2007 Ford Shelby GT500, which is now available in the Auto Club Revolution garage. The B Class American machine has a VPR of 359. This distinctly styled, rear wheel drive beast can be found in the showroom, ready to help you drive away those Winter Blues. Players can also purchase a special Christmas Starter Pack, which will contain the Shelby GT500 and Christmas themed decal packs.
