The Adventures of Rubberkid, a FREE Adobe Flash game looking to raise awareness about how terrible bullying can be, has completed funding on Kickstarter, despite running through the Christmas season. The developer, Charles Jackson, was simply blown away at how kind and giving people can be!

In celebration of hitting the goal early, the stretch goals have had their dollar amounts reduced. The next goals, translating the game into Spanish and then into French, were brought down to $1,200 and $1,600 respectively. As of the 26 th, the project has $760 pledged. The campaign ends December 30 th, 2012 at 9pm Eastern.

“Same-Day Bonuses” were also added to the campaign, with the promise of the backer receiving digital bonuses within 24 hours of pledging. These include a Christmas Pack (a full download of The Critterville Christmas Store and two Christmas images) and a New Year's Pack (a full download of Ellie's Clubhouse, several Rubberkid coloring pages and two New Year's images). ALL backers, regardless of their pledge amount or date, will receive all of the bonuses.

The Adventures of Rubberkid Kickstarter can be found at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thecritterverse/the-adventures-of-rubberkid. The Adventures of Rubberkid demo, a playable version of what's done thus far, can be accessed at http://www.thecritterverse.com/rubberkid/kickstarterplayable.php.
