[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource GamesPress.]

NGames, a leading online publisher, is proud to announce the introduction of monthly Flight League Contests to aerial-combat based MMORPG, BoomSky.

Good news for budding pilots and seasoned Boomsky commanders! The new “Flight League Contest” is available now, pitting thousands of players against one another in massive, winner-takes-all aerial league tournaments.

BoomSky is a strategy-based multiplayer browser game, transporting players to the cockpits of customisable fighter planes as they tear across the sky on adrenaline fuelled adventures.

Each Flight League Contest lasts two months and is open to all players from level 20 upwards. Every evening between 20:00 – 22:00, players can compete against one another to earn points and climb the rankings of their contest leagues. Accrued points can be used to unlocked a plethora of awesome upgrades, unlocking new gears and weapons to futher customise and upgrade warplanes.

Players can join as many as 10 active League contests at any given time, opening up the opportunity to win bags of prizes on an daily basis. Flight League Contest rankings are reset at the end of their two-month cycle.

The top 3 ranked pilots at the end of each contest will be rewarded with special item packs and enhancements, while pilots ranked 4th – 50th will each win two mystery reward boxes stuffed with desirable BoomSky items.

BoomSky features colourful anime graphics, exciting backdrops and a raft of fascinating content across multiple modes of play. The games keyboard controlled air battles throw off the shackles of mouse-only browser-based gaming, lending the gameplay experience an old school flavour with a fresh graphical twist.
