Hamburg, January 29, 2013. Browser game developer
InnoGames just published the first theme song of
a God featured in its strategic browser game
Grepolis. The glorious theme
of Zeus, king of the gods in ancient Greece, can be played
here. Grepolis will soon
receive an update, containing several music themes and sound
effects – including songs for specific gods. The live
recording of the main theme, covered by the famous Brandenburg
State Philharmonics with over 60 musicians, can be watched on
YouTube.
The new in-game sounds will give players audible feedback for
actions, which is intended to increase the enjoyment and atmosphere
of the title. InnoGames plans to present more audio previews in the
coming weeks.
Grepolis is a strategy game
set in Ancient Greece. In the free browser-based title, players are
tasked with building up a vast metropolis and uniting with other
players to establish a powerful military and conquer far away
islands. Currently it boasts over 19 million registered users and
is playable in 22 languages.
Next to Grepolis, games company InnoGames has published major
browser game titles like
Forge of Empires,
Tribal Wars and
The West. With about 100
million registered users, the German company belongs to the biggest
developers and publishers of online games.
