BERLIN, Germany. – Feb. 5, 2013Aeria Games, a leading global publisher of free-to-play online games, is excited to announce the winners of the AIC ( A.V.A. International Championships) 2013 qualifiers! EU Team CrackHeads came out on top after two tournaments held over two weekends in early January.

The CrackHeads beat US-based team blasT and EU-based team Caprice in a series of action-packed battles, which of course were all filmed for those who missed the action! The five team members, Kimpah, MrGold, kwelie, CypheZ and xSlice hail from Sweden, Norway and Belgium.

The finals will take place in Tokyo, Japan from the 22 nd to the 24 th of February 2013, and the EU winners will be battling it out against two Japanese teams and one team each from South Korea, China and Taiwan. The whole team is very excited, as they made clear in an interview with two members of the team, Kimpah of Sweden and MrGold of Belgium, on the Aeria Games Forums.

Keep an eye out in the news and on the forums for further coverage about the finals in Tokyo, including interviews with the players on site and live video streaming of all the jaw-dropping action. In the meantime, players can enjoy the new A.V.A. 2013 trailer on YouTube.
