Berlin, Germany – March 21, 2013 – The international multiplatform publisher Immanitas Entertainment today released Tabletop Defense for 1.99 USD / 1.79 EUR / 1.59 GBP on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. As the name suggests, Tabletop Defense offers classic tower defense gameplay and will keep not just genre fans on the edge of their seats for hours at a time. Tabletop Defense for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is now available on the App Store: http://bit.ly/ZzxZ1i.

In Tabletop Defense, players must set towers at preset points along an enemy supply route to prevent the opposing land and air units from reaching their goal. At the beginning, however, only limited funds are available, and the higher the level, the trickier it is to decide which towers should be placed at which points and when, as well as when they should be upgraded. Shots not only prevent defeat, they also improve players’ finances. The additional funds can then be used to build more towers and to upgrade existing towers in order to be able to destroy more heavily armored enemy units. Individual enemy units which nevertheless survive the obstacle course more or less unscathed lower players’ ranking – if more than 10 vehicles or aircraft reach their goal, the level is lost.

Features:

-          24 levels in two difficulty levels: Normal and Expert

-          5 different towers, each with three upgrades

-          Appealing 3D graphics

-          Zoomable game and tower views

-          Different game modes for different types of player

-          Adjustable speed

Tabletop Defense is now available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in English and German for 1.99 USD / 1.79 EUR / 1.59 GBP on the App Store. Because of the larger screen and to improve visibility in the game, Tabletop Defense has been optimized for tablets – but of course, the game can also be played on smartphones.

There is also a PC version available for Tabletop Defense that can be purchased digitally via Gamesload ( http://tinyurl.com/cbnwqo7 ) for 9.99 EUR / 12.99 USD / 8.49 GBP.
