NGames, a leading online games publisher, has today revealed the first details of 'Chapter 7' - a massive new update coming soon to the shores of award-winning free-to-play One Piece MMO, Pockie Pirates.

Pockie Pirates is a licensed One Piece MMO that faithfully recreates the One Piece anime series. Players take on the role of a sea-faring captain sailing the famous Grand Line trail with their friends, seeking epic adventure and treasures as they quest to become the King of Pirates.

Revealed today, Chapter 7 introduces a huge list of updates and new features to the Pockie Pirates gameplay experience.

With Chapter 7, players will be able to dive for new Underwater Treasure, learn useful new cooking techniques to give crew members powerful buffs, and enjoy a much-anticipated optimised full-screen interface, which promises to immerse players in the Pockie Pirates experience like never before. The Pirate Info interface is being given a makeover, making it easier for players to adjust the attack and defence positions of warship crew members – a vital time-saver for the more tactically savvy captain.

High-ranking players visiting the All Blue Bar 2 will be able to recruit members from two new crews: Drake and Hawkins. Both sets of pirates pack a powerful punch; especially their admirals, Kizaru and Akainu (respectively) – two formidable One Piece characters that are sure to make waves across the Grand Line.

Major changes are also being implemented to the way payers interact with the Grand Line map, ushering in a new age of more efficient traversal across Pockie Pirates' in-game world.

The Grand Line's burgeoning trade activity will benefit from shorter travel times, as well as new and improved gameplay mechanics introduced in Chapter 7. The affiliation of every Harbour across the Grand Line will be clearly marked on the mini-map, and players can take advantage of a new Bargain feature that allows pirates with high enough Friendliness ratings to choose from 3 bargaining methods to score greater trade deals.

Meanwhile, revenue is being tweaked to offer 3 times the previous income rate, making it easier for players to secure key items and enjoy a smoother path of progress through Pockie Pirates' many exciting quests and storylines. Real-world money will also be stretched further when Chapter 7 is introduced, with new special time-limited benefits on offer to everybody upgrading their account to Vip status, unlocking a whole week of new gameplay potential.
