DENVER, CO (August 26th, 2013) — Glass Bottom
Games LLC, developer of the critical hit Jones On Fire, today
unveiled their next game: “Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A
Fedora.” Compared to their last release, Hot Tin Roof is
substantially bigger, and unlike Jones On Fire, it’s aimed at
PC / Mac / Linux. It’s also noir. Noir as fuck.
The game is launching via Kickstarter, here:
It’s also up on Greenlight, here:
Grab your fedora and revolver - in Hot Tin Roof
you’re on the case! Dive into a noir mystery and become Emma
Jones, a two bit gal in an 8-bit world. You’re the Private
Investigator on a string of grisly murders, scouring for clues in a
3D side-scrolling world. Work with Franky, your feline partner, to
unearth back-alley secrets. Find a wide range of cartridges for
your revolver - grapple shot, blood splatters, trackers, knockbacks
and more - that, used wisely, open even more avenues to explore.
You’ll eat pie with locals, and rub shoulders with the scum
of the earth.
It’s a dog eat dog world out there, but luckily?
A cat has your back. Franky. The cat that wore a fedora.
