FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Our game aims to out-race the competition.

OC-TANE is a "hi-octane" racing game. You take
control of a multitude of futuristic, slick racing machines and fly
as fast as you can around insanely wicked neon tracks. We all have
great memories of playing such classics as Micro Machines, Golden
Eye and Wipeout. We want to make something that gives people the
kind of memories and fun experiences that we have been given.
We will be releasing OC-TANE on OUYA. Then after six months we
will be porting it over to the iOS and Android systems. We hope to
have thousands, if not millions racing around OC-TANE's tracks. We
aim to focus on the multiplayer experience of competitive racing
with your friends but expect single player and time trial features.
The difference with OC-TANE is we are building it specifically to
cater from 2 to 8 players at a time on the OUYA console and we will
be providing the players a level builder. This will allow the
players to build as many tracks as they like and race their
friends, hopefully making OC-TANE one to keep playing from now and
into the future!
In addition to building the game, Sync Interactive Ltd is
recording all of its progress from beginning to game launch, and
even onwards with updates and future content. “We've created
a designated Website & Blog, Twitter, YouTube channel and
Facebook. Yes, part of it is for buzz but it's also for showing
people what works and what doesn’t, giving them a glimpse
behind the scenes in every sense. They will be able to see every
detail and aspect that went into the development and release of
what is slowly turning out to be our bet games release so far!
We'll document the ups and downs, the business, the marketing and
everything else. So it’s going to be an interesting
To put it all simply, OC-TANE is a game that we’d love to
play. We’re pouring our heart and soul into this project, and
we want to bring as many people along on the journey as possible.
The game industry is changing, and we really believe that the voice
of backers and fans is integral to the process of making a truly
great game and having it be successful (ignore Snakes on a Plane
that just should never have happened).
We feel that the game concept should sell itself. We all have
wonderful memories attached to the old titles that have inspired us
to create our own racer. But we hope that with our racer, we'll
help to create memories as good or maybe even better than those
that players have of Micro Machines, Wipeout & Mario Kart. We
want people to play OC-TANE with their friends, eat some pizza and
knock back a few as you blast around the craziness that will be
OC-TANE. To finish, we want your help to create something truly
personal to everyone that plays it. In advance of any help we get,
we want to say thanks for the support, and look ahead to the

you’re really giving us $20! Oh, and don't forget the cool
rewards you'll get from us for supporting us in our adventure!
You'll get to feel twice as good for just giving once! We’re
huge fans of the open-source nature of OUYA and when we saw this
opportunity we had to act.
