Brasil Game Show, the Largest Game Show of Latin America, gathered more than 150 thousand visitors in its sixth edition, held from October 25 th through 29 th at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. Over 100 releases were presented at the Event, including games, consoles, accessories and other products. In addition, dozens of international producers attended the Fair. Another highlight was the International League of Legends Challenge, which brought together the best teams in Latin America.

The main booths of the Event enjoyed fiber optic Broadband Internet access provided by Live TIM, sponsor of BGS 2013.

BUSINESS

BGS 2013 was attended by more than 50 international companies, including the presence of 18 Korean companies. In addition, during the sixth edition of the Event, more than 1,000 business meetings were scheduled through the Matchmaking System offered by the organizer, with over 250 registered companies.

SALES

Large retailers such as Saraiva and Lojas Americanas sponsored the Event and sold tens of thousands of products on their booths, including games, consoles, books, notebooks, DVDs, and even candies and chocolate. Other companies also sold their products during the Event, and some brands set up exclusive stores with their official products.

SOCIAL

Brasil Game Show 2013 surpassed the number obtained in 2012, collecting nearly 50 tons of non-perishable food, all donated by visitors to the Event. The benefited Association was Prato Cheio: established for over 10 years, the organization collects and distributes food to welfare institutions. Visitors who donated 1 kg of non-perishable food at the Fair entrance were paid only half-price for admission.

In addition, BGS offered free admission to visitors with mobility difficulties, and its staff included over 75 wheelchair users.

2014

The seventh edition of Brasil Game Show is already confirmed for October 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2014 and will be held at all five pavilions of Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, totaling more than double the area used in 2013.
