[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource GamesPress.]

The RCP Network of games developers has been growing for years. A dozen of development companies joined our family and two of the youngest teams, stillalive studios from Innsbruck/Austria and it Matters Games from Berlin just made it to the Develop 100: Europe's most exciting game start-ups list .

It Matters Games, founded in 2011, released their first two games in 2013. The kids game “My Dolphin Show” generated 2.5m downloads, the bike runner “Sidekick Cycle” is one of the first games supporting charity by giving bikes to children in need.

Innsbruck based stillalive studios is the first of the RCP teams who crowdfunded their project Son Of Nor with a successful Kickstarter Campaign in spring 2013. The 15 team members are located around the world. They are from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Finnland, the US and Ecuador. Son Of Nor will be released in 2014.

Hendrik Lesser, Managing Director of remote control productions, is enthusiastic: "The gaming startup scene is the innovation driving force of the industry - especially in Europe. Therefore, I am particularly pleased and very proud that two of our teams have made it into the top 100 of the most promising gaming startups. Our goal is to allow these teams to grow into companies with stable growth and lasting success."
