THURSDAY 5 DECEMBER, 2013 -- Robots gathered on a randomly
generated playing field today to throw a ball around and generally
beat the living crap out of each other.
Such chaotic scenes can only mean one thing: Frozen Endzone, the
premier tactical future sport game, has finally entered its
exclusive public beta!
The next release from Mode 7 Games - creators of the
award-winning and acclaimed Frozen Synapse - Frozen Endzone is a
simultaneous-turn-based game of tactics and tremendously aggressive
The attacking player must attempt to get the ball in their
opponent’s endzone, or into a midzone in the middle of the
field, in order to score points. Naturally, the defending
player’s goal is to stop this from happening.
With the full game slated for release in late 2014, Frozen
Endzone’s beta is now live - giving anyone who pre-orders the
game instant access to a work-in-progress version. Of course,
they’ll also receive a copy of the full version upon release,
plus a free copy to give to a friend.

Indie studio Mode 7 will use cash generated from the beta to
help fund the remainder of development as they work towards the
game’s completion next year.
The beta was supposed to launch last month, but didn’t
because of reasons.
