King’s Hit Facebook Game Farm Heroes Saga Heading to Mobile Early 2014

LONDON & NEW YORK, 10 DECEMBER 2013: King, the world’s leading casual games company and creator of global hit game Candy Crush Saga, today announces that its hugely popular Facebook game, Farm Heroes Saga, will be making its way to iOS and Android devices early next year.

Farm Heroes Saga already has a large Facebook following, where it is loved for its challenging and strategic gameplay, adorable characters, and original and fun design.

Launching as a free-to-play mobile game early next year, Farm Heroes Saga tasks wannabe agricultural heroes with putting an abrupt end to ‘Rancid the Raccoon’s’ evil attempts to spoil the peaceful eco-system of the farm.

With 100 tasty and challenging levels available on mobile at launch, players can achieve top scores by successfully switching and matching the various selections of super cute ‘Cropsie’ characters in rows of three or more, within the specified move limits.

Players can go further in their pursuit of unlocking their inner farming hero with the help of additional boosters and modes that allow them to clear and collect entire rows of crops and magic beans.

At launch, Farm Heroes Saga on mobile will also seamlessly synchronise with Facebook so players can progress, unlock new levels and access leaderboards wherever and whenever they like, without losing their progress in the game.

“Farm Heroes Saga’s fun, snackable nature has rightfully made it one of our most successful Facebook titles to date,” says Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King. “The Farm Heroes community on Facebook has been extremely vocal in its desire for the mobile release, so we’re both proud and excited to finally be able to bring the game to mobile devices and build on our continued efforts to launch our titles cross-platforms.”
