London, UK, 28th January 2014 – After launching its Playfire Rewards BETA program last month, Green Man Gaming, the world’s fastest growing multi-platform digital retailer, has already helped thousands of core gamers play their way to new games and content.
Since launch, 65% of gamers taking part in the BETA have already earned Green Man Gaming credit towards anything on the Green Man Gaming store.
Gamers who link their Steam account to Playfire are eligible to earn Playfire Rewards Credit for gaining any of the achievements listed daily on the Playfire Blog. Frequently updated to ensure the correct mix of desire and attainability, the Rewards BETA is designed to optimise Green Man Gaming's community offering, with additional platform support coming very soon.
As 85% of users told Green Man Gaming they’d like to earn credit not just for specific in-game achievements, Rewards Credit is available for activity like starting a new game, or playing for a minimum amount of hours, plus BETA participants can also earn credit by signing up to the Playfire Newsletter, all of which is converted into Green Man Gaming Credit.

Notes to Editors:
· All of the Playfire Rewards Credit is provided in GBP (£), but everyone is eligible to try it out. Other currencies to come soon.
· There is a minimum 24-hour delay from earning Playfire Rewards Credit to when it becomes GMG Credit.
· If a GMG account doesn't use GBP (£) then the Credit value will be converted to a users currency at the conversion rate for the day.
· The BETA won't count any eligible achievements already gained - only new ones gained during the BETA are credited.
