30th January 2014

The first edition of the ELITE VIDEOGAMES INTERNATIONAL AWARDS will take place next Thursday 30th January in Madrid.

The EVIA 2014 recognise the best videogames launched throughout the year that has just concluded, with a view to becoming a key annual event for the videogames sector and a key point of reference for all users.

The Awards Ceremony will be hosted by the journalist, Javier Villacañas.

Sony, Koch Media, Take Two, Electronic Arts, Activision, Nintendo, Blizzard, FX, Wargaming, Microsoft Xbox and Turtle Beach ... all of the sector's companies have confirmed their attendance at the Awards, which will present a number of different categories, such as "Best Action Videogame", "Best Production Company" and "Best Sports Game", not to mention an Honorary Award for the company or association that was most active in terms of promoting and raising awareness of videogames in general in 2013.

Competition for the awards in the different categories is expected to be stiff, given that a number of important productions were launched onto the market last year.

The EVIA 2014 Awards Ceremony will take place on 30th January at the Bisú Lounge, c/ José Abascal Nº 7, at 9.00 pm.
