PRESS RELEASE

Hamburg, February 24, 2014 – Bigpoint is proud to announce Craig Scott as new Lead Designer. Scott, previously Design Director at CCP, recently started at Bigpoint to lead the design efforts on a new game.

Craig Scott has been in the gaming industry for more than 14 years and has been involved in designing titles such as APB by Realtime Worlds. On CCP's Eve Online, he started out designing the character creation, and quickly moved up to manage EvE´s entire design team. On his latest assignment, he was specifically sent in to turn the fate of Dust514 around.

Khaled Helioui, CEO of Bigpoint: “We are proud to have Craig join our ranks to work on a new breed of MMO. Craig brings a genuine passion for game design and innovation for the benefit of the players, and he fits perfectly with the game development philosophy we are promoting at Bigpoint. We are focused on attracting the most brilliant minds in the industry to develop innovative and incredibly fun games.“

Craig Scott: “I am happy to be with Bigpoint now. Bigpoint has major experience in the future sector of free-to-play, online games. Furthermore, I expect to have much space for trying new things, which is a premise for making really innovative games and which, of course, means a lot of fun for both the teams and the users. That’s what I see Bigpoint is currently about.”
