Berlin, April 11 th 2014. For 10 years, GameDuell has entertained players all over the world with fun and exciting casual and community games. In spring 2004, the Berlin based games company launched its community platform and its first games. Since then, all signs pointed to growth and after just nine months the company was profitable. GameDuell currently offers some 65 different games in seven languages on their website.

A number of these games are also available on social network sites, like Facebook, as well as on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. More than 210 team members from 26 countries are working on the international success, a good half of the team is employed in the product area, game development and technology.

For the company’s 10 th anniversary the team compiled a series of interesting numbers and facts about GameDuell in their company blog. According to the fun facts infographic, over 2 billion multiplayer rounds have been played on the games platform since 2004.

For this, the development team wrote over 1.3 million lines of programming code. Moreover, GameDuell has gathered events from the company history in an interactive timeline, and on the company website there is also a company history graph available to celebrate the company anniversary.

Community Experience in Focus

From the start, GameDuell‘s focus has been on the social experience of playing games with real opponents. The core of the widespread portfolio is still to provide players with a variety of multiplayer games, fun events, rankings and tournaments. Using a sophisticated matching system and many other community features, GameDuell offers a genuine community experience with thousands of real players.

In the recent years, the team has especially been working toward offering a seamless gaming experience across the major games platforms so that customers can have fun with their favourite games whenever and wherever they want, be it on a laptop, a desktop computer, a tablet or a Smartphone.
