SERIOUS SAM CLASSICS: REVOLUTION TAKES FAN MODDING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

- Fan-Led Project Now Available on Steam Early Access -

30th May- Zagreb, Croatia – Croteam and Devolver Digital are excited to announce that Alligator Pit, an indie development team comprised of Serious Sam fans, have launched Serious Sam Classics: Revolution on Steam Early Access. Created by the Serious Sam community under the supervision of Croteam, this new incarnation of the classic shooter is a unified version of Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter with updated technology, new gameplay modes, new campaign levels, and the inclusion of fan-favorite mods, weapons, and maps.

The original Serious Sam: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter launched to worldwide acclaim in 2001 and 2002 and led to several serious sequels and spin-offs over the past twelve years. Serious Sam Classics: Revolution was started by a small team of dedicated fans that wanted the originals to live on for modern gamers and expand based on the community’s desire for new Serious Sam Classic content. Through Steam Early Access and Steamworks, the fan led development team plans to update some of the underlying technology and create new content, campaigns, and gameplay modes for the legendary shooter based on suggestions from the community itself.

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is available now on Steam via Early Access and is available at 50% of then usual price of £7.99 for the first week of launch. Current owners of Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter on Steam can download the game for free. Boom.
