London, UK – July 16th, 2014 – Today Ubisoft® announced a new in-game event for Panzer General® Online, allowing players to experience one of the most famous campaigns of the Second World War between German and Russian armies: the Battle of Kursk. This special event is dedicated to the Russian Army and will start on July 16 and end on July 30.

During the event, players will have to collect as many medals as they can when fighting against other players’ units in a dedicated multiplayer area while preserving their own units. Medals earned will allow players to unlock specific Russian items such as new units (the “T-34 Recovery Tank” and the “Tank Hunter Infantry”), new powerful command cards (“Air Ground Attack” and “Air Supply Drops”) and a new booster (the “IS-3 Heavy Tank”) which will reinforce any Red Army troops. Players can participate in the event and play Panzer General Online through the official website

Panzer General Online is a free-to-play browser-based tactical game combining elements of collectible card games and board games. Players create their own armies of World War II units including tanks, artillery and the infantry as well as command cards that when deployed strategically, can turn the tide of battle. Featuring a single player campaign and multiplayer PvP battles, players can challenge their friends and other generals to race to the top of the leaderboards.
