Cologne, Germany – July 20th 2018 – Good news for indie developers: thanks to support from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, devcom 2018 organizers can offer independent developers, who want to show their products to a broad audience of experts, especially attractive conditions this year. Additionally, studios from North Rhine-Westphalia can purchase the standard exhibitors package without any additional costs thanks to the devcom NRW Indie Area. All the other participants also profit from this year’s many extras. All indie developers are automatically entered into the devcom Press Pitch, the devcom Publisher/Investor Pitch, and are nominated for the devcom Indie Award with its many valuable prizes.

By participating in the devcom NRW Indie Area, independent developers can show their games to a large professional audience. Each team also receives two tickets for the developer conference and two three-day tickets for trade visitors for gamescom. Via the devcom Press Pitch they can network with the press and secure broad coverage after the conference. At the devcom Publisher/Investor- Pitch, indie teams can present their games to potential investors.

Independent developers have until July 25th to apply for the devcom NRW Indie Area at devcom 2018. The organizers will then pick teams from the bronze, silver and gold categories to  decide who will be allowed to exhibit their games during devcom 2018 at the Indie Area.

All details, the application form, as well as the FAQ can be found on the official homepage.
