24th August 2010

TRAX, the UK’s ultimate event for drivers and fans of performance cars, is to dominate Silverstone, the home of British motor-sport, on Sunday 5th September, featuring the all-new Live Action Arena sponsored by racing game nail’d.

New for 2010, the nail’d Live Action Arena will run throughout the day, bringing the game to life, with 12 of the UK’s leading QRA Quad racers demonstrating their unbelievable skills and stunts to the crowds. nail'd, world’s fastest off-road arcade racing game launches on 22nd October 2010, on the PlayStation ® 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 ® , the video game and entertainment system from Microsoft ® , and PC, courtesy of publisher Deep Silver. TRAX visitors will be in for a treat though, as they will be able to play exclusive previews of the game before anyone else in the UK!

Gary Chantler, Marketing Executive at Deep Silver for nail’d, said: “It’s great to be working with Future Publishing on this exciting event. I’m thrilled to be showing nail’d in the UK for the first time at one of the biggest and most prestigious car shows in the UK.”

Crowds can also expect to be wowed by spectacular driving displays from Formula Drift Champion Chris Forsberg, who will perform his world famous ‘bottle trick’ amongst other drift demonstrations. Paul Swift, Top Gear wheelman and stunt driver, will also be demonstrating his high-speed precision skills.

Event-goers can expect plenty of other track action with the super-car sessions, where you’ll get to see Corvettes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and other rare metal in action on the track.

You can also take your own car out on the track, with all makes and models welcome; so whether it’s your first time on track or you're a track day veteran, you can put your car to test on the world-famous F1 Circuit.

There will also be special displays from the most impressive car clubs in the country, with over 4,500 cars on display, as well as the all-new super-car paddock and 2010 Power & Style Awards, which will recognise the best ‘Performance tuned’ and ‘Street style’ cars at the show.

And, as the last major show of the season, TRAX is a great place to grab a bargain, with a massive retail village packed with many of the leading brands in the tuning market offering significant discounts on the products and services. With over 10,000 sqm of tuning retail space; TRAX is the ultimate day out for any performance car enthusiast!

Tickets cost £17 in advance, or £20 on the gate. Track time costs £30, with passenger tickets at £10. Under 14's free with an accompanying paying adult.
