Naruto/Bleach-inspired MMO, Pockie Ninja is set for an influx of new characters, items, pets and special outfits with the release of Chapter III: Hokage Village - the second major expansion to the browser-based brawler, due June 23rd.

Publisher NGames have revealed more details on "Chapter III: Hokage Village", the huge upcoming update for their popular browser-based brawler, Pockie Ninja. A slew of powerful new outfits have been confirmed – which users can equip to change their class, or "school of ninja", at any time – along with a range of new items and characters to interact with.

Hokage Village was devastated during the countless battles against Demon City. Now that the war has ended with the defeat of Aizen, ninjas have started rebuilding their home.

Due to be rolled out on June 23rd, the "Chapter III: Hokage Village" update represents a massive evolution to the Pockie Ninja game-world. With brand new gameplay features and a game-changing player village system, ninja's have never had so much to do!

Brand new outfits

Outfits play an important role in Pockie Ninja. Not only do they let you look great as you take on the role of famous Naruto and Bleach characters, but they also determine your "school of ninja", each coming with unique attributes, strengths and weaknesses.

"Chapter III: Hokage Village" promises to add new, highly powerful outfits to the game that will shake the core of the ninja world.

The Dragon Soul outfit both looks mean and backs it up by making you brilliant in battle. Skillful use of ninjitsu combined with this outfits special bonuses - including increased attack and speed; debuff reduction; and extra fire, water, earth and lightning effects – could make you a real force to be reckoned with.

Meanwhile, Naruto fans will be eager to get their hands on the new Kyuubi Naruto orange outfit, which draws upon the near-invincible strength of the nine-tailed demon sealed inside Naruto.

Legend says that the violent tailed beast was sealed by the end of the Shinobi World War, leading to the appearance of Jinchuriki - humans that have tailed beasts sealed within them. What kind of powerful skill can we expect when rampant beast and passionate young man come together?

Other stunning new outfits have also been announced, encouraging players to have fun while playing with the five elements and exploring the Pockie Ninja game world. The Release Skill Outfit is a must have for ninja's pursuing the ultimate power.

Brave explorers could be in for a real treat - have you collected the scale of Azure Dragon, feather of Vermillion Bird, tooth of a White Tiger and the shell of a Black Tortoise? Then why not take them to a forging master and check out the Spirit Creature Outfit he can produce with all of the materials combined. Your bravery will surely be rewarded!

New Pets!

Ngames have announced two powerful new pets for "Chapter III: Hokage Village" : the Dark Wing Dragon, and the Azure Dragonling.

The Dark Wing Dragon is a force to be reckoned with, increasing its owners powers and adding essential support during battle. The dragon can use divine speed to increase the speed of its owner, while its icy breath will help to create a powerful crystal seal.

The Azure Dragling has awakened from thousands of years of sleep to help ninjas resit the evil forces. No one dares to challenge the mighty draglings, but whose strength will be recognised by the Azure Dragonling? Will it be the reserved ways of Gaara, the cold hearted Sasuke, the exuberant Naruto..or maybe even you?

Plush new Items and Treasures!

NGames have announced an array of new items for Pockie Ninja players to collect, including new treasure jars and wishing pots that gift users with a bounty of gameplay benefits.

The new items, such as the Advanced Sage Panacea which rewards players with 350x the EXP gained from killing a monster, will be accompanied by special Orbs, Treasure Jar's and Boxes, each blessing ninja's with a package of useful gifts.

Many of the items were once only obtainable through Pockie Ninjas special event reward packs, but can now be found when exploring the game world. For example: finding Aizen's Crumbling Orb Essence will gift you with a new wishing pot, pet skills, crystals, gift boxes and golden equipment.

If you look hard enough, you might even stumble upon the new Golden, Diamond and Luxury "Treasure Jars" - special features of Chapter III: Hokage Village that are bursting with new outfits, skill books, powerful crystals and attributes to push your ninja to the next level.

There are even rumours of the divine Gem of Tailed Beast Heart being added to the game. Once thought to only exist in legendary stories, the gem will massively increase its wearers power and could turn the tide of battle in your favour.

The Mystery Merchant Returns

After the defeat of Aizen, the Mystery Merchant began to learn of Aizen's cruelness and has decided to side with Angel City. As a result, he's now selling his rare items to users at a much cheaper price.

The Mystery Merchant can only sell a limited number of items and players will need to wait for a period time between purchases. Be sure to act quickly and choose your purchases wisely, as clever use of the Mystery Merchant's items could prove key to victory.
