CyberSports Announces – Striker Superstars
CyberSports are proud to announce the imminent release of Striker Superstars, their all new browser-based 5 a-side football experience. Utilising the Unity Technologies game engine, Striker Superstars is both PC and Mac compatible.
You can play alongside strangers or friends in fast paced five a-side football action. If they register with their email they will be able to develop their character further by training their stats, equipping items and unlocking achievements through their performance on pitch.
These achievements reward the player with far more than bragging rights and a pretty graphic. Each time a player unlocks an achievement they receive a token which can then be used to upgrade any of the items in their inventory.
The game uses the current 5 a-side match engine from Football Superstars, but has been adapted it to work outside of the FS game client and allow for immediate and highly accessible gameplay.
One of the greatest benefits of the new game is that it greatly enhances accessibility. There is no big client to download and install. Technical requirements are so minimal that practically anyone with a computer and an internet connection will be able to play and what’s more you don’t even have to register!
New players can log in as a guest and experience match play within seconds, but if you wish to chat with your fellow players and save your character’s progression then you’ll need to register an account.
Two Games, One Family
The release of Striker Superstars does not signify a departure from Football Superstars. To the contrary Striker Superstars is there to complement Football Superstars, not replace it.
Players who want to take their experience further and experience larger matches of 7 and 11 a-side, as well as joining persistent Player Managed Clubs can only do so via Football Superstars. Meanwhile, players of Football Superstars will be able to jump on and play with friends who would not otherwise be able to take part and grab some quick games during free time or their lunch break.
Registration is now open for the BETA test sessions and you can sign up at http://strikersuperstars.com .
We will be choosing our team of testers over the next couple of weeks and will inform you if you are one of the chosen few.
“Looking forward to seeing you on the pitch...!”
