Brian Hapgood's Blog

I've been a game programmer since I was 8, which is a pretty long time given that I'm pushing 50. I started life watching my friend Neil program his BBC Micro B back in the early 80s and I was hooked. Since then I've worked at Acclaim, Midway, Sony, THQ, EA, you name it I've been there. Recently I started my own game studio (a dream come true) and though I have no cash it's been amazing to put together a game editor so I can write the games I've never been allowed to. :) I put it up on the Mac App Store if any one's interested.

I'll be keeping my website up to date at www.creepydollgames.com and adding a blog as well as blogging here. I'd like my blog to go into details on how to write a game engine from scratch because I think we rather lose something when the market for engines is reduced to two.

All the best

Brian Hapgood.
