I’ve spent the last 17 years making games, specifically large scale, live games. In my career I have focused on game design and direction, monetization strategy, and LiveOps while also being active in the game developer community as a frequent speaker and writer, especially about ethics in monetization. I love making player-centric games and my belief in building long term engagement through live operations has led me to work with great teams at ArenaNet, Nexon, and Disney, I joined the Xbox team in late 2018 and am currently the Director of Live Operations for Xbox Game Studios Publishing where I help many game teams plan and execute effective LiveOps strategies. I strongly believe that good live operations can help players get the game experiences they deserve; experiences that are engaging, personalized, and valuable.
