I am one fourth of the independent game dev studio Lost in the Garden in Vienna, Austria. I am trained as a programmer, but I am also in charge of the overall game design, as well as PR and biz dev. We released our debut title LIGHTFIELD on PS4 and Xbox one last year, and now the greatly extended HYPER Edition is coming to Steam on July 31.

In the nine months between the original console release of LIGHTFIELD and bringing it to Steam as the Lightfield HYPER Edition, 4-person indie team Lost in the Garden learned a few lessons but also left some big questions unanswered.

Yes, Star Dew Valley could be an interesting case. A game that seems to be designed for single player that reached a size where enough people requested online MP. r n r nBut also at that size I guess the business decision to add MP is easier to make. For ...
