Tobias Stein's Blog

Hey, I’m Tobi.

If someone would ask me to describe myself with three words, those would be happycurious and determined.

I love programming! Writing code to create new solutions for complex problems is what I want to do. I am keen to learn new things and I want to try it out.

Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, AR/VR (Graphics Programming), Physics Simulations and Games are my favorite fields of interest.

Aside of my passion for programming I also love traveling. Seeing the world, going to remote places, meet new people and get to know their stories is a great pleasure to me.

In this article I want to talk about the Entity-Component-System (ECS). It is a design pattern mostly encountered in video games which allows you great flexibility in designing your overall software architecture.

This is the second part of my series "The Entity-Component-System". This time I am going to show how to use the ECS implementation from my first post and build a game with it.
