The consumer can do anything they want with a PS3, including putting any OS they can - however - sony does not have to provide upgrades to their own os if the hardware is being used for other intentions. That's my Vegas bet on the outcome.

If smartphone users are included, there should actually be an increase in mobile gaming - my 80 year old mom now plays bejeweled2, and my 55 year old sister plays sudoku - neither were gaming anything 1 year ago.

Great article All the games I've played that offer different paths have not impressed me with this feature - the paths are never different enough to be anything more than a novelty. Hopefully we will see this change.

Agree - does not look like apple design, although I completely would welcome an analog joystick or equivilent. Pac Man just is not the same without a stick.
