Officials from Israeli games-on-demand provider Exent Technologies have announced that the company has appointed former Intel executive Alan Snodgrass as its new North American president. In his new role, Snodgrass will oversee all of Exent's business operations from the company's North American headquarters.
Prior to joining Exent, Snodgrass worked for the last 12 years with Intel, where most recently he established the business development organization for Intel's Digital Home Group. As part of this group, Snodgrass and his team executed strategic business deals in support of the organization's consumer electronics and PC platforms businesses.
Exent, which is best known for its technology for digital distribution of video games, recently launched its patent pending AdMuse, an in-game advertising solution that enables advertisements to be integrated into a project at any stage of a game's life cycle without the need for any changes to the game's source code.
"Alan's background with Intel and his vast experience with the consumer entertainment and gaming industries are invaluable to Exent as we launch new consumer offerings," commented Exent Technologies CEO Zvi Levgoren. "Alan will play a key role in further driving to market Exent's established EXEtender product line and our newly launched AdMuse in-game advertising product line."
