Capcom has announced a new development agreement with UK-based game studio Monumental Games to create a multi-platform title, genre and title as yet unspecified, to debut later in 2009.
Monumental, founded in 2005, has UK offices in both Nottingham and Manchester, following
the acquisition of Swordfish Studios' Manchester division.
The company, which also has offices in Pune, India, is currently creating the MMO
Football Superstars, as well as upcoming online title
Hunter's World.
As for this new title, the company's official site indicates that "we can't reveal the franchise as yet, but we can say we're both proud and excited to be working on it."
It continues: "As you would expect given our core technology, there's a substantial online element, but the gameplay focus is pure adrenalin."

UPDATE: A search of the company's positions for hire indicates that
at least one pertains to a Wii conversion for "a next generation racing title", possibly the project in question -- and certainly an unannounced Monumental game.]
