The organizers of the 'Walk Of Game' display at Sony's Metreon entertainment complex in San Francisco have announced the nominees for 2006's Walk of Game categories, and revealed that voting for the 2006 awards is set to start on the official Walk Of Game website
on October 1st. The deadline for voting is October 31st, and winners will be honored at a ceremony in early 2006.
As with last year's event, the top two creators and the top four games and characters will be inducted into the 'Walk of Game' at the Metreon with a 24x24 inch brushed steel star. Lifetime achievement nominees for the 2006 Walk Of Game are John Carmack (Doom

In 2005's ceremony
