NeoEdge Networks, creators of casual game portal MostFun have announced the arrival of a new game delivery network offering unlimited play of casual games with advertisers supporting the service 'per-hour' of play.

By monetizing all “game views”, says NeoEdge, publishers receive "almost three times the value they currently receive from traditional channels," most of whom, the company points out, rely almost exclusively on game sales versus hourly play to generate revenue.

NeoEdge also notes that its network can help advertisers reach a highly targeted and untapped female demographic with 'television quality' video ads with its dynamic insertion technology, which can be delivered pre-roll, post-roll, or interstitially.

NeoEdge has said it provides reporting technology to give publishers insight into "how games are played, how much time consumers spend playing games, and how often games are shared with peers," helping publishers determine which of their games are most popular.

Said NeoEdge CEO Vic Mahadevan, “Casual games continue to grow in popularity among women and are a virtually untapped resource for advertisers seeking to reach a targeted and engaged audience. Gamers not only represent a captive and loyal audience in key demographic areas, they also spend several hours a day online, giving advertisers and publishers unprecedented opportunities to target and personalize the consumer experience.”
