Officials from Valve's digital distribution service Steam have announced that major publisher THQ has become the latest to come aboard the service, bringing a number of its hit titles including Supreme Commander, Titan Quest and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

The THQ deal will bring a line-up of titles from such developers as Relic Entertainment, Gas Powered Games, and Pandemic to the service, starting with Company of Heroes, Titan Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, Full Spectrum Warrior, and Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers -- all of which are now available.

THQ says more games are slated to come to the service soon, including Supreme Commander, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

The move marks the latest in THQ's digital distribution push, following the announcement in June that the company was partnering with IGN to bring a "broad catalog" of THQ PC titles to IGN's Direct2Drive digital distribution service, as it did with launches of already seen with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Supreme Commander simultaneous with retail.
