Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Army of Two: The 40th Day and Vancouver 2010 stateside, as Japan gets Batman: Arkham Asylum and Last Window.

EA's cooperative shooter Army of Two: The 40th Day will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PSP platforms in North America this week, arriving alongside the multiplatform olympic sports sim Vancouver 2010.

Online-exclusive offerings for this week include a WiiWare port for Capcom's adventure title Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and an Xbox 360 remake of Croteam's first-person shooter Serious Sam.

PlayStation Portable:
- Army of Two: The 40th Day

Army of Two: The 40th Day and Vancouver 2010 will also see release in the UK this week. No other titles are scheduled for retail release this week in Europe.

- Kentoushi: Gladiator Begins
- Mahjong Haoh Battle Royale II
- Tekken 6

Batman: Arkham Asylum will make its Japanese debut this week on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while Wii owners can expect to see BioHazard: The Darkside Chronicles (released stateside last year as Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles).

On portables, the Nintendo DS will soon host the Hotel Dusk sequel Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku, as the PSP gets a port of Namco's arcade one-on-one fighter Tekken 6.
