Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra.

This week's U.S. revenue charts see Angry Birds and Restaurant Story leading iPhone sales, while Ragdoll Blaster 2 emerges as a top seller on the iPad.

These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies.

Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings.

This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are:

1. Angry Birds ($0.99)
2. Restaurant Story (Free)
3. Angry Birds Halloween ($0.99)
4. Original Gangstaz (Free)
5. Cut the Rope ($0.99)
6. Tap Zoo (Free)
7. Haypi Kingdom (Free)
8. City Story (Free)
9. Galaxy on Fire 2 ($6.99)
10. Plants vs. Zombies ($2.99)

Angry Birds returns to the top of the iPhone charts this week, as last week's sales champion Angry Birds Halloween remains a strong seller at third. TeamLava's free-to-play Restaurant Story sees a boost in popularity after recently adding Game Center support, and takes second place in today's chart based solely on the strength of microtransaction sales.

Other free-to-play titles entering this week's top-grossing games chart include the Mafia Wars clone Original Gangstaz, Streetview's zoo management sim Tap Zoo, and Haypi's massively multiplayer online game Haypi Kingdom.

Here are this weekis top-grossing iPad applications:

1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99)
2. Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD ($4.99)
3. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99)
4. Angry Birds Halloween HD ($4.99)
5. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99)
6. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99)

8. NFL 2011 HD ($6.99)
9. Casino for iPad ($4.99)

Angry Birds HD replaces former chart champ Angry Birds Halloween HD as this week's highest-grossing iPad game. An upgraded version of Backflip Studios' Ragdoll Blaster 2 finishes its debut week at second place, while PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies HD moves up to finish third.

EA's Reckless Racing HD drops to seventh place following a fifth-place debut last week, meanwhile, as Gameloft continues to see chart success with NFL 2011 HD and Modern Combat 2 HD.
