Activision confirmed today that it is bringing an enhanced version of the Wii shooter Goldeneye 007
to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
Goldeneye 007: Reloaded
builds on the original release from last year
with new HD visuals and realistic environments.
Along with the original story campaign, Reloaded
also features new 'MI6 Ops Missions' that will see players completing a series of assault, elimination, stealth and defense missions in the various story levels.
The new game will also resurrect the split-screen multiplayer from the original release, with four-player local play and brand new 16-player online play.
The online features will include new maps, weapons, characters and game modes than found in the N64 version.
The PlayStation 3 version of the game will also support PlayStation Move functionality, implementing the Sharp Shooter peripheral.
