Zumba Fitness Now Eight Consecutive Weeks At Top Of UK Charts

Zumba Fitness Now Eight Consecutive Weeks At Top Of UK Charts

August 8, 2011 | By Mike Rose

For the eighth week in a row, Pipeworks and 505 Games' Zumba Fitness took the top spot in the UK retail software sales charts, marking its 11th week at the top overall.

According to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, the fitness game saw a 16 percent rise in sales, and outsold the next four titles combined.

There were no new titles in the top 10 this week, with a few games staying completely stationary. The likes of Just Dance 2: Extra Songs, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and LA Noire didn't move an inch.

Racing games dominated the charts this week, with Dirt 3 and Cars 2 at numbers two and three respectively. The success of the final Harry Potter movie also roused the games into gear, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Part Two and Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 sitting at numbers seven and eight.

Below are Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts, which include unit sales of all versions of a given title, and the individual platform charts, which treat individual SKUs separately.
