The UK Writer's Guild has honored Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and writers Alex Garland and Tameem Antoniades with its 2011 award for Best Video Game.

The writing team won over two other shortlisted authors: Splash Damage writer-designer Edward Stern and former game journalist and The Curfew writer Kieron Gillen.

Earlier this year, the Writers Guild of America gave an award to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, over other shortlisted titles including God of War III and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
