DeNA partners with Chinese mobile platform Baidu

February 1, 2012 | By Mike Rose

Newsbrief: Japanese mobile gaming giant DeNA today announced a partnership with Chinese mobile platform Baidu, with DeNA's Mobage platform now available via Baidu's Yi Store in China.

A new dedicated Mobage section is now open in the Yi Store, allowing Chinese mobile gamers to download Mobage titles for Android devices. The Yi Store uses cloud services and an "intelligent search box" to serve its customers with an easy way to find mobile games.

DeNA said in a statement that it plans to expand its user base in China through this new agreement, and give its worldwide developers more opportunities in the region.
