June 19, 2013 | By Mike Rose

Games for Change, the New York City festival focused on the positive social impact of games, has revealed the winners of its 2013 awards, including the awards for the Most Innovative game, and the festival's coveted Game of the Year.

The Annual Games for Change Festival, now in its tenth year, is a non-profit event that aims to act as a catalyst for those developers creating social impacts through their digital video games.

Quandary from the Learning Games Network took home the Game of the Year away, while PC and mobile game Blindside from Epicycle won the award for Most Innovative.

The festival revealed the winner of its game design competition earlier this week, with Safe Sex with Friends from Kaho Abe, Ramsey Nasser and Sarah Schoemann taking home the prize.

Best Gameplay: Reach for the Sun - Filament Games
