The PlayStation 4 will launch in Japan on February 22, 2014, with Sony noting that it wants to make sure that the software for the console is ready for the Japanese audience. The console will cost 41,979 yen ($421.22), or 46,179 yen ($463.36) bundled with the PlayStation Camera, when it releases early next year. Pre-orders will begin in stores on October 5, and 19 titles will be available from launch. To say sorry for the launch delay (the console will launch in the West later this year), Sony said that it will be offering a free download code for Knack to all those people who buy the console at launch. This offer will only be available in Japan.
