The morning's PlayStation Vita TV announcement brought a range of reactions from around the web, including among developers.

While some devs believe it may be a positive turn for Sony, others see the move as a waste of resources. Many were interested in the technical specifics or the impact on the burgeoning microconsole market.

The device will launch in Japan first on November 14, and costs 9,954 yen ($100.05) for a basic unit or 14,994 yen ($150.44) with a controller and 8GB Vita Memory Card.
