PlayStation Store expansion gives PS Mobile wider reach

November 22, 2013 | By Kris Graft

Newsbrief: Sony Computer Entertainment announced Friday that the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Mobile will be launching in nine new countries, starting December 18.

That means developers from a wider array of countries will be able to sell PS Mobile games via the PS Store, to players who own a PlayStation Certified device of PS Vita.

Countries that were already part of the program include Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia. The nine new countries include Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and New Zealand.

Prior to the expansion Sony will open the PS Mobile Developer Program to devs in newly-added countries on December 5.

More information on the PS Mobile Developer Program is available here.
