The Nordic Game Program has announced the batch of developers who will receive cash grants from the Nordic Council of Ministers, including the team behind the PS Vita version of LittleBigPlanet, and The Ball developer Teotl Studios.

The game development grant scheme was set up back in 2006 to help support the video game scene in the Nordic regions. Since then over 100 cash grants have been given to game studios, helping to bring games like Limbo, Max and the Magic Marker and Brothers to release.

As part of the announcement, Tarsier Studios revealed its next game Hunger (pictured), a third-person action adventure game that has received 500,000 Danish Kroner ($91,588) in funding.

Meanwhile Glitchnap, the team behind fast-paced four-player battler Laza Knitez, has received 300,000 Danish Kroner ($54,924) for a new game called Suprematism, while Teotl Studios received 300,000 Danish Kroner ($54,924) for its game Solus.

Notably, a number of these studios have previously received funding for past games through this scheme before. Teotl, for example, received funding for The Ball, while Visiontrick Media, who have today received 300,000 Danish Kroner ($54,924) for new project Calantina, was previously granted funding for Pavilion.

The full list of grants is as following:
