Newsbrief: If you were a kid in the 90s, you may remember Hugo the Troll, one of the very first interactive TV shows. The company behind the franchise has been making a move on mobile recently, and has now secured $4 million in a round of funding.

Hugo Games has already seen more than 25 million downloads for its Hugo mobile games since it looked to reboot the Hugo franchise a couple of years ago, and now the Copenhagen studio plans to use this new investment to boost its presence on mobile.

CEO Henrik Kolle plans to release a number of cross-platform games over the next 18 months. He says that the company managed 25 million downloads with barely any marketing, so he's clearly keen to show what he can do with money behind him.
