Passes for the Game Developers Conference 2015 are still available, and today we're excited to announce more details about the ‘Shut Up & Sit Down’ board game exhibit, which will be open to all GDC passholders (from Expo to All-Access) at various points during GDC week, March 2-6.

The exhibit, curated by the keen minds behind board game enthusiast hub Shut Up & Sit Down, will offer GDC 2015 attendees a comfortable space to relax and play some of the best card and board games made in 2014.

The planned lineup includes XCOM: The Board Game, Plaid Hat Games' Dead of Winter, Five Tribes from Days of Wonder and the bluffing game Sheriff of Nottingham.

GDC attendees should also have an opportunity to try the fast-paced One Night Ultimate Werewolf, the Marvel Dice Masters game and Bruno Faidutti's bluffing game Mascarade.

Board and card games will also feature prominently in a handful of promising GDC 2015 sessions, most notably designer Julia Keren Detar's talk on "History Shaping Design: Tales Told By Early American Board Games."

Further details on this and many more announced talks are available now in the online GDC 2015 Session Scheduler, where you can begin to plan out your conference week and later export it to the up-to-the-minute GDC Mobile App, coming soon.

Conference officials look forward to announcing more GDC 2015 sessions and interactive spaces in the weeks ahead. For more information on GDC 2015, visit the show's official website, or subscribe to regular updates via FacebookTwitter, or RSS.
