Developer Sabarasa announced that it will release two DSiWare titles from offbeat indie game developer Jason Rohrer (
Sleep is Death).
The two slated games are
Primrose (a puzzler released for iPhone/PC last year), and a three-game collection titled
Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology.
According to the ERSB (via
Joystiq),
Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology will include three of the developer's best known games:
Passage, Gravitation, and
Between, the last of which won the Innovation (Nuovo) award at the 2009 Independent Games Festival.
Like
Sleep Is Death,
Between is a multiplayer experience -- details have not yet been revealed on whether the title will support online multiplayer or just local play.
The
Alt-Play label suggests that Sabarasa has more independent games in mind for DSiWare, though the firm has not confirmed any other titles in this series to date.
In addition, a separate, specially designed Jason Rohrer game will debut on Nintendo's handheld when
Diamond Trust of London -- published by Majesco -- releases this sumer.
